Select the right research package
for your family research

You can select one of the following research packages for your ancestry research. A basic rate of € 35 (including VAT) per hour will be charged for archival and documentation work, plus ancillary costs (archive fees, travel expenses, copying costs and postage).


If the research cannot be continued due to a lack of documents, only the costs incurred up to that point will be charged.

Individually

Individually agreed scope of research

  • You set a time limit (and thus a budget).


  • This means that the research is tailored to the individual request, e.g. in parish register archives, municipal, city or regional archives (for example inventories and divisions, estate inventories, resident and military enlistment lists, tax books and stock books).


  • The results will be compiled in a research report and include those determined.


  • Findings obtained as well as the relevant background information and all sources explored.

One family

One family

  • Research and evaluation of all family data in one generation: Parents including possible other spouses (dates of birth, marriage and death) as well as any associated children (dates of birth and death).


  • The research will be conducted in church archives.


  • The chronicle will include a compilation and evaluation of all sources detected.


  • Fixed rate of € 350 (including VAT).

One family in its historical context

  • Research and evaluation of all family data in one generation (parents including possible other spouses – dates of birth, marriage and death – as well as any associated children – dates of birth and death).


  • The research will be conducted in parish register archives as well as in the municipal, city or regional archive. The collections of all relevant archives will be investigated (e.g. inventories and divisions, tax books, stock books, estate inventories, resident and military enlistment lists). In addition, all results will be put in the historical context.


  • The chronicle will include a compilation and evaluation of all sources detected.


  • Fixed rate of € 600 (including VAT).

Family tree or ancestry chart

  • Of course, researching a family tree or even an entire ancestry chart is the culmination of genealogy research. As this is a time-consuming project, it is advisable to keep an eye on the costs. In this case, the focus of the research as well as the costs will be discussed from step to step.


  • For conducting research in parish registers, a reduced rate of € 30 (including VAT) per hour will be charged in this case. Any further research in municipal, city or regional archives will be charged at the usual rate of € 35 (including VAT) per hour.
